No one likes to be told you have an ugly baby. And yet, truth be told, the home page has needed some work for a while. Today, we are officially launching a new design that is more image-centric and less cluttered. We also simplified our Nav structure so you can get to any product category on the site in two clicks. I hope you like it.
Although the Consumer Electronics Show floor doesn't open until tomorrow, the first products announcements came out last night and PCMag editors are on location. Bookmark our CES landing page to follow the team's tweets, videos, and stories. It is going to be a wild few days.
There are a lot of great predictions in this story, but the one I think is most interesting is Tim Bajarin's claim that Apple will launch a business-focused iPad in the first half of the year. From anyone else, I would call it idle speculation, but Tim knows things.
FitBit gets a lot of attention in the tracking market, and deservedly so, but we have been very impressed with the Basis watches. Better sleep tracking will make them even more compelling. Expect a hands on later this week when we see it on the show floor.
